Guillaume Massol was born and raised in Toulouse, France. At an early age, he moved to Paris where his talents were quickly recognized— and in no time he was appointed the artistic director of the world-renowned Paris Jacques Dessange Salon. His skill in advanced bridal techniques earned him a membership in the Haute Coiffure Francaise.
After working for runways and fashion shoots in Paris, Milan, and London, he decided to move to New York, where he became a Great Lengths Hair Ambassador for hair extensions and perfected his technique in precision haircuts. With over ten years of experience, he has developed a philosophy that hair should compliment his clients’ personality and lifestyle.
Moulay Yacoubi started his career in Paris, working the fashion shows with the top editorial stylists of the time. He studied under Vidal Sassoon, perfecting his distinctive modern-classic technique. He continued by learning the famed dry-cutting technique from master-stylist John Sahag, and razor cutting under British-great Michael Gordon, founder of Bumble & Bumble. Moulay has drawn from the teachings of all three style legends, creating his signature, avant-garde technique along the way, tailored to each client’s texture and style. The result is head-turning, unique styles that every woman covets.
Moulay’s work has graced the covers and pages of established international magazines and styled leading celebrities including Jennifer Aniston, Gisele Bundchen, Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Sigourney Weaver, Helena Christensen, Uma Thurman, Brooklyn Decker and more. Moulay has been featured as leading stylist on CBS, FOX, E! News and appeared as a guest judge of the 2010 season of “Shear Genius” on Bravo!” This former model is also a jewelry designer, having learnt the craft at FIT, and a fashion consultant. He is active in the philanthropic world.
